In the Liangjiang New Area, a 100,000-square-meter AI innovation incubation community has been established. This platform focuses on intelligent vehicles, embodied AI, and industry-specific AI applications, serving over 4,500 software and information technology companies. The community aims to build a closely connected industrial ecosystem, attracting leading enterprises and major projects, including the Iluvatar Corex semiconductor project. By 2030, it plans to develop more than 100 AI use cases, attract over 500 AI innovative enterprises, and bring in over 5,000 skilled professionals.
Embodied AI and Robotics
Chongqing’s robotics industry is experiencing significant growth. Unitree Robotics, a global leader in legged and humanoid robots, has established a wholly-owned subsidiary in Dadukou District, focusing on the R&D and manufacturing of intelligent, industrial, and service robots. Additionally, Galaxy General Robotics has partnered with Bishan District to build an Embodied Intelligent Robotics Industrial Innovation Center, aiming to deploy thousands of embodied robots in various sectors, including industrial manufacturing and healthcare.
Smart City Initiatives
Terminus Group is building its first global AI City in Chongqing, integrating AI, 5G, IoT, and big data to offer customized services and promote carbon neutrality. Located by the Fengming River in the Financial Street Area of Western Chongqing Science City, this project aims to create a smart and sustainable urban environment where technology and nature coexist harmoniously.
